We are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Supervisor (Food Quality) to oversee the food safety and quality programs in assign department, this position will be accountable for ensuring food safety and quality programs meet or exceed USDA regulatory compliance.

Specifically, this position:

• Ensures Quality, Food Safety and SQF Verification and Compliance programs adhere to specified guidelines and has proper supporting documentation

• Prevent HACCP and SSOP failures

• Conduct Sanitation inspections and audits as required throughout the manufacturing process

• Maintain and update SQF plan

• Promptly identify and investigate product/process failure, determine the root cause, and implement corrective action, minimizing product exposure and production down time.

• Maintains relationships with plant management, production, and regulatory agencies.

• Supervises and ensures training of Food Safety Quality Assurance staff

Candidates should posses:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality or related discipline

• 2+ years’ experience in food safety or quality assurance with supervisory/lead experience

• Comprehensive knowledge of USDA, HACCP, and SSOP requirements.

• HACCP Certified, preferred. - SQF Certified Expert, preferred.

This position offers:

• Base salary of $80K

Pay Details: $54,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
