Description:

The Eastern Iowa Regional Director of Compliance, Risk and Accreditation serves as the Officer (inclusive of Patient Safety Officer) responsible for providing leadership, direction and support in the development and implementation of the Compliance, Risk Management and Accreditation programs that involve integrity, compliance, ethics, risk management and accreditation for the Eastern Iowa Region and its owned organizations. The Officer ensures the programs meet recognized standards as established by regulatory authorities and accrediting bodies.

Nursing / Risk Management / Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required and preferred):

Bachelor Degree in Nursing, Hospital Administration, Finance, Law, Accounting, Health Information Management, and/or Business. Master's Degree preferred.

Requires a minimum of five to seven years’ related experience in a health care setting.

Certification in Compliance (Health Care Compliance Association) required within one year of hire. Certification in Healthcare Risk Management required within three years of hire.
