Applications are being accepted for the position of Health Promotions Director. The director manages preventative, broad-based well-being initiatives including anxiety reduction, stress management, depression screenings, alcohol and other drug abuse reduction, sleep improvement, performance psychology, technology dependence, periodic well-being activity facilitators and/or guest speakers, and a peer education program; coordinate surveys to gauge the most serious needs and develop responses; oversee all operations including marketing, use of technology for outreach, grant writing, and budget management; consults with key staff to calibrate timing and implementation of programming intended to increase resilience, coping skills, and engagement in activities to improve students' minds, bodies, and spirits. This position is full-time, benefits-eligible, and funded through a 3-year grant with the possibility of an extension.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Public Health, College Student Personnel, Counseling or other area relevant to student development is required. At least three years of experience preferred.
Effective communication, program development, and program marketing skills. Knowledge about and experience with student life at a small, residential liberal arts college. This position is a critical integral part of campus life and requires active visibility and engagement in all aspects of health outreach. Ability to motivate and work successfully with others. Ability to prepare and deliver educational programs and produce appropriate educational materials. Ability to create, implement, and interpret assessments. Ability to motivate, coach, and enable others to act.
