Site Ops Excellence Lead
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Site Operations Excellence Lead, are to:
Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) culture by teaching the Operational Excellence (OE) tools and modeling the expected behaviors;
Facilitate OE activities on the site as needed;
Hold process owners responsible and be accountable for the execution, results and sustainability for OE improvements by monitoring the actions and escalate to the project sponsors as appropriate;
Conduct status reviews with process owners to track OE project progress and work with the process owners to identify mitigation steps in the event a project goes off-track;
Seek actively industry best practices and drive best practice sharing across the site;
Drive positive change in the organization by supporting actively;
Work on project MOVE, other corporate OE initiatives and Muscatine Strategic OE activities including production system implementation and develop strategies to address roadblocks;
Provide leadership and direction to the site training and develop program to ensure plans are executed and business needs are met;
Be member of the core Site Leadership Team (SLT) be responsible for incorporating OE techniques into the team.

Bachelor’s degree with at least eight years of industry experience and a demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement efforts experience OR a Master’s degree with at least six years of industry experience and a demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement efforts;
Clear understanding and practical application of Lean – Six Sigma and other continuous improvement tools (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Creating one-piece flow, Kanban, A3, process mapping, Statistical Process Control, Root Cause Analysis, Production Systems);
Demonstrated ability to facilitate cross-functional project teams, influencing decisions at all levels;
Requires highly developed and well documented systematic problem solving and multi-discipline team building skills;
Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently add value in a production environment;
Build effective teams.
