Now Hiring MIG Welders!

Job Description

We are seeking certified welder fabricators to join our team in Muscatine, IA. Our projects involve building and fabricating robust equipment such as truck dumpers, sand and gravel dredges, and pontoon underbellies. The primary responsibility will be MIG welding (dual shield and flux core wire) on heavy metal ranging from 1/8th of an inch to 2-3 inches thick. This role is not suited for a production welding environment but rather for custom fabrications based on specific blueprints for a variety of customers, including our biggest customer, Twinkle.

Hard Skills

• 1+ year of MIG welding/fabrication experience

• Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding weld symbols

• Experience with hand and power tools

• Knowledge in sandblasting and torch usage is a plus

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills

• Sense of ownership

• Pride in work

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Muscatine, Iowa.

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm and Friday from 6am to 2:30pm, with occasional Saturdays. The workshop is a spacious, enclosed structure located behind the main office building, maintaining a comfortable temperature even in winter. Our team currently consists of 12 fabricators, with plans to expand. We foster a family-oriented culture that values communication, ownership, and pride in work. Safety gear such as hardhats, non-prescription glasses, and hearing protection will be provided.
