Aerotek Assembly Technician $20/hour in Nevada, Iowa

Description:

Full-time Assembly Technician to build our customized combines, planters, and other agricultural equipment used for seed research.

Job Duties :

• Assembles large scale components, wiring, electronics, and hydraulic control systems for agricultural research equipment, including combines and planters, using a wide variety of hand and power tools.

• Assembles painted metal sub-assemblies and final assemblies using various fastening devices and connecting methods.

• Performs quality checks on equipment to ensure correct assembly and fabrication.

• Modifies and repairs existing products, disassembling products for purposes of diagnosing or correcting problems.

• Work with a team

Benefits :

Training is from 7:00am – 3:30 pm or 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, but after that very flexible – typically employees are working between 5 am and 5 pm. Employees should choose a schedule but need to communicate if they will be much later than planned. If an employee needs to come in later or leave early, they should communicate that with their manager and can make the time up another day that week.
