As an Industrial Technology Teacher, you will have the opportunity to educate students in the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the industrial technology field, providingthe opportunity for them to exercise critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, and creativity. You will also help students see how industrial, technology skillscan be used to solve real-world problems and create professionalopportunities.
Responsibilities Teach Industrial Technology courses to students in grades 8-12 Develop and implement lesson plans that meet state and national standards Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement curriculum Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in the field
