Robert Half International CFO in ORANGE CITY, Iowa


Robert Half is looking for a CFO level candidate in the Orange City, Le Mars, and Sioux City areas preferably, as well as other general surrounding areas. This individual will be a part of the Executive team at a stable and growing company with strong roots in the community. Please see information below for further explanation of the role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and execution of all financial and accounting activities

  • GAAP financial preparation and reporting, as well as financial review and analysis

  • Prepare the annual budget working along all other business departments and locations

  • Long-range planning and forecasting, as well as variance analysis and comparison

  • Preparation of the annual financial audit working with internal and external auditors

  • Present financial reports, analysis, and budget figures to the Board of Directors

  • Reviewing revenue and profitability compared to actuals, as well as budgeted and allocated expenses compared to totals

  • Reviewing cash and liquidity positions of the organization

  • Execution of investment related activities and funding activities for the organization

  • Work as a strategic financial partner for the organization to review key performance metrics and provide guidance for company growth trajectory

  • Review company contracts and maintain records for analysis on profitability

Prerequisite Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting/finance a must

  • CPA license preferred

  • 5-10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience

  • Strong aptitude for technology and ability to improve accounting software reporting

  • Strong communicator within all levels of the organization as well as with affiliates outside of the organization

  • Highly analytical mindset
