Hormel Foods Osceola Foods - Smokehouse Technician in Osceola, Iowa

We are currently reviewing applications for Smoke House Ham Technician 3-2-2 shift . This position has the following principal accountabilities:

  • Basic computer skills

  • Basic math skills (ability to successfully pass a math assessment)

  • Demonstrate knowledge of and successfully pass the CCP operator test (annually)

  • Ability to push 2,000 pound racks of meat and to lift 50-pound bags of ingredients on a regular basis.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Incumbents must remain fully competent on the job and successfully pass the annual CCP test. If performance falls below “fully competent”, the team member will be given a time period to improve. Those who do not remain fully competent will be disqualified and will be considered for any current openings on one of the other production teams.

Osceola Food, LLC., a company of Hormel Foods is seeking production team members on first and second shift. Successful applicants must be able to complete physical work that involves lifting up to 50lbs repeatedly.
