Pella Regional Health Center Applications Analyst in Pella, Iowa
The Applications Analyst will analyze and evaluate various sources of clinical and financial data in support of business processes to reduce costs, improve quality, and further the goals and objectives of PRHC. He/She will be responsible for coordinating reports related to the Meditech and Maestro Information Systems.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science. 2 year degree may be substituted if in combination with 4 or more years of progressively more advanced experience. Further experience in the field may be substituted for a formal degree.
Knowledge of database structures and SQL.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server preferred.
Experience in training of personnel is highly preferred.
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Firm understanding of computer applications.
Ability to communicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team.
Technical and problem solving skills related to computerized processes.
Knowledge of patient care environment required.
