Work Shift

1 - First Shift

Are you the type of person who identifies, prioritizes, and resolves product development for customers? In this role, you will coordinate new product development projects to improve the product support experience and be a technical resource for internal teams, dealers and high-profile customers regarding product concerns. We’re looking for an entry level individual with a passion for customer support through professional application expertise.

What You’ll Do

  1. Collaborates with internal and external partners to confirm expectations of the reliability of Vermeer product through thorough root cause evaluation and correction action.

  2. Create and maintain critical projects through Vermeer business systems that drive serviceability and quality into Vermeer products.

  3. Maximizes use of applications and tools, identifies areas where technology could be more effectively used and provide feedback to internal and external partners.

  4. Actively learns key insights around the business unit’s markets, that help dealers and customers drive business decisions.

  5. Analyze and effectively communicate internally and externally data trends. Establish and implement metrics around quality and reliability that can be used for decision making to drive positive business results.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical school or engineering field and 2 years’ experience or equivalent education and experience preferred.

  • Ability to make good decisions in very difficult and tense situations.

  • Demonstration of strong verbal and written communication skills including public speaking and effectively serving as the subject matter expert to communicate with dealers and customers.

  • Ability to lead and facilitate multiple activities and resources.

  • Ability to be customer oriented and have a can-do attitude to provide effective training and product support.

Travel

  • Occasional travel is expected of this position.

Work Location

HYBRID: Some of a team member’s day-to-day work may be best done at a location other than a Vermeer campus. Discuss specific arrangements with your manager.
