Work Shift

1 - First Shift

Are you the type of person who likes to know the why behind the equipment and who enjoys educating and leading others? This role will provide training guidance and support for Vermeer products to optimize the learning experience for participants. We're looking for a person that has a seasoned knowledge of industrial and forage equipment to help us teach an ever-growing sales team within our global dealer organization.

What You'll Do

  1. Lead and develop a team to execute on strategic initiatives of the group.

  2. Design learning solutions and manage training logistics by partnering with Subject Matter Experts within the company or by researching outside vendors for content.

  3. Facilitate classroom and hands-on training sessions to engage participants in the learning process and achieve desired outcomes and objectives.

  4. Formulate training policies, programs, and standard work based on strategic needs assessments, company standards, and organizational initiatives.

  5. Gather and analyze training data to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of training programs and create driving measurement goals for technical training programs.

  6. Report and monitor achievement of driving measures in alignment with the strategy.

  7. Develop and maintain relationships and rapport with existing dealerships to help drive interest in and coordinate program participation.

  8. Facilitate meetings with dealership leaderships, project leads and 3-year strategy project leaders to assess and relay training needs.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree and five years relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.

  • Ability to acquire a Class A CDL license.

  • Expert knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems.

  • PowerPoint, Excel, Word, public speaking, project management, people management.

  • English language or Bilingual with Spanish.

Travel

Occasional travel is expected of this position.

Work Location

ONSITE: A team member's day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
