Pella Regional Health Center Clinical Associate -CMA/LPN in Pella, Iowa
This position serves to primarily assist clinic healthcare providers. Clinical Associate (CA) will be under the supervision of the provider and office manager and should be someone that is comfortable working in a "team" environment. The CA performs a wide range of clinical duties while assisting the provider inside the exam room of a typical medical office setting. This position maintains responsibility for patient medical histories, patient, examinations, collection and preparation of specimens as required, and treatments and procedures, under the direction of the provider.

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:
v Graduate of an accredited program for RNs, LPNs, Certified Medical Assistants or Emergency Medical Technicians.
v Certification/Licensure in the States of Iowa.
v Previous acute or clinic experience.
v Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required. New employees certify within three (3) months after hire date.
v Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
v High degree of empathetic listening, tact and kindness toward others.
v Ability to communicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team.
v Basic computer knowledge
v Technical and Critical Thinking Skills in relation to sound nursing judgment
v Knowledge of skilled nursing practices.
