1 - First Shift

Are you a collaborative leader who excels in fostering relationships and driving progress ? In this role you will serve as a strategic Human Resources (HR) partner tasked with enhancing our talent experience and organizational performance. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing talent strategies that propels our business forward through your influential consulting.

What You’ll Do

  1. Serve as a strategic HR partner for designated business areas, enhancing the talent experience and organizational performance. Collaborate with the broader HR team to develop and implement specific talent strategies to meet the needs of the organization.

  2. Lead and strategize projects to implement best practices that attract top talent, support high-performing teams and maximize business outcomes while upholding our core cultural values.

  3. Assess key metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent management and the cultural engagement. Use data-driven insights to make strategic and tactical adjustments.

  4. Ensure compliance with employment-related laws and represent, or aid in the representation of, the organization in related litigation matters as needed.

  5. Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports to build a strong, cohesive team as applicable.

    What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field with six years of progressive HR experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are considered.

  • SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

  • Ability to support to support business growth by aligning talent strategies with business objectives.

  • Demonstrated agility in leading and influencing organizational change initiatives.

  • Proven track record of effectively interacting with multiple levels of the organization and building trusted relationships.

  • Comprehensive understanding and application of all HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, total rewards, positive team member relations, talent development, performance management, and regulatory compliance.

  • Demonstrated consulting skills with the ability to influence decisions using sound judgment and data analysis to drive positive business outcomes and resolve complex issues.

  • Strong project management skills.

    Travel

  • Occasional travel is expected of this position.

Work Location

ONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
