Are you the type of person who enjoys developing and operating data processing solutions to support large and complex use cases throughout the enterprise? In this role you will build robust, fault-tolerant data pipelines that collect and deliver data to distributed systems. We’re looking for a highly adaptive, resourceful team member who is a fast learner with an ability to deliver creative solutions.
What You’ll Do
Implement data import techniques for real time and batch processes for structured and unstructured data sources.
Build end-to-end and simplified enterprise information architecture solutions using Agile project methodology.
Responsible for protecting and securing company data.
Ensure solutions adhere and conform to business requirements, data integrity standards, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
Test and debug work products.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Extract Load and Transform (ELT) concepts, process, and design.
Knowledge of use and creation of datasets and data transformations.
Experience with data movement technologies (DataBricks, Python, Azure, REST, XML/JSON, SOAP).
Experience with relational databases, SQL queries, relational and dimensional data modeling and data warehouses preferred.
Travel
No travel is expected of this position.
Work Location
REMOTE: A team member’s day-to-day work may be best completed from a location other than a Vermeer campus. There will be instances where the work requires time spent on a Vermeer campus. Discuss specific arrangements with your manager. Remote team members are eligible for business-related reimbursements per the work location policy.
