1 - First Shift

Are you the type of person who enjoys developing relationships and managing dealer territories all while being an active part of a dynamic sales team? In this role you will develop sales presentations, map out sales and market share initiatives, train dealer personnel and customers. We’re looking for driven individuals who are keen to develop their sales abilities.

What You’ll Do

  1. Perform product demonstrations domestically and internationally.

  2. Develop and present sales, operational and competitive product information to domestic and international sales managers, dealers, and customers in the promotion of product line. Support wholesale and retail sales efforts through answering of operational, pricing, availability, technical, and application questions.

  3. Represent Vermeer at trade shows and seminars. Answer questions regarding Vermeer products and demonstrates product as necessary.

  4. Train dealers and customers, domestically and internationally, on product operations, applications and maintenance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related major and a minimum of three years’ relevant experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Ability to effectively manage travel time spent at dealerships, tradeshows, and customer visits; training material completion deadlines and new product launches.

  • Ability to be customer oriented and have a can-do attitude to provide effective training and product support.

  • Demonstration of strong verbal and written communication skills including effectively serving as the frontline of communication between Vermeer and the dealer sales network.

  • The ability operate machines and translate their knowledge to customers and dealers is preferred.
