Work Shift

1 - First Shift

Are you the type of person who is customer focused, enjoys a fast-paced work environment, and builds respectable interpersonal relationships? In this role you will support the sales team by providing them accurate and concise data regarding equipment availability and production updates. You will also work with cross-functional team members to assign and manage dealer orders to meet the needs of the customer. We're looking for a team member who will effectively engage with a wide variety of people, has high organizational and time management skills. This role is the main contact for our field sales team.

What You'll Do:

  1. Provide customer support to the commercialization team regarding inquiries, equipment availability, dealer orders, and product support.

  2. Coordinate with scheduling, operations, and shipping to track and prioritize orders. Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels.

  3. Manage requests to the forage order desk and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner to maximize customer experience.

  4. Assist with the development, launch, and coordination of the annual preseason order sessions for the global sales regions. Monitor pricing and discount structure of orders.

  5. Support with the administration and maintenance of sales enablement tools. Assist with dealership and salesperson incentives.

  6. Assist with coordinating sales meetings and trade shows.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications.

  • Minimum two years of experience in Business or related field; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills for structured problem solving.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to produce accurate, professional, and concise documents. Demonstration of strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships, which encourage openness with customers and peers, while working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in Microsoft Excel. Power BI experience a plus.

  • Knowledge in the area(s) of Vermeer product line.

Travel:

  • Occasional travel is expected of this position.

Work Location

HYBRID: Some of a team member's day-to-day work may be best done at a location other than a Vermeer campus. Discuss specific arrangements with your manager.
