You'll

Do

1.

Identify

trends, patterns, and correlations using time-series regression modeling, optimization, or other advanced statistical techniques, developing models and simulations to

optimize

powertrain configurations, predict energy consumption, and employing statistical analysis with SQL, Python, or R for comprehensive data insights.

2.

Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to define requirements, scope, and

objectives

for data analytics projects, and create compelling narratives that tell the story behind the data insights using dynamic visualizations and various communication strategies.

3.

Generate actionable business insights through proactive discovery, stakeholder engagement, comprehensive documentation, and the promotion of organization-wide data literacy.

4.

Lead the collaboration with the data engineering efforts to support analytics while upholding data integrity.,

and guide database management efforts to ensure data accuracy and integrity for efficient data analytics.

5.

Collect, clean, analyze, and interpret telematics data to derive insights related to energy consumption and powertrain performance.

6.

Perform energy mapping analysis to visualize and understand energy flow, usage patterns, and inefficiencies within powertrain systems.

7.

Create dataflows and materialized views using SQL to clean and prepare data from various sources.

8.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data analysts to support their professional development and goals.

What

We're

Looking For

-

Bachelor's degree in Data

Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or other related field with five years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

required

.

Experience with data modeling concepts and data storage technologies, and how to extract from these sources using querying languages such as SQL or KQL.

-

Solid understanding of powertrain systems, energy management principles, and environmental considerations related to powertrain technologies a plus.

Proficiency

in programming languages (Python or R) for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.

Proven experience in handling large datasets and working with telematics data is highly desirable.

Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib).

Travel

  • Occasional travel is expected of this position.
