Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Technical Writer in the manufacturing industry, located in PELLA, Iowa, United States. The role involves creating and editing technical documentation, using a variety of design and illustration software. The successful candidate will have a strong background in industrial design, graphic design, or a related field, and will have extensive experience with 2D and 3D graphical programs.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop to create and edit technical documents.

• Employ AutoCAD and Autocad Electrical to design and revise technical drawings.

• Utilize 2D and 3D Illustration skills to create digital photographs, drawings, and diagrams from solid models.

• Leverage Graphic Design skills to enhance the visual presentation of technical information.

• Develop Operating Manuals and Maintenance Manuals to guide end-users.

• Convert complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical information into understandable and accessible language.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industrial design and graphic design best practices.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy of documentation. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Technical Writer role within the Manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Adobe FrameMaker, AutoCAD, and Autocad Electrical is required

• Skilled in using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign

• Demonstrable experience in 2D and 3D Illustration

• Strong background in Graphic Design

• Experience in writing Operating Manuals and Maintenance Manuals

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

• Ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively
