Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Technical Writer in the manufacturing industry, based in PELLA, Iowa, 50219-7660, United States. This role involves the creation and management of technical documents for our manufacturing processes and products.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop to create and edit technical documents.

• Create and modify 2D and 3D illustrations using programs such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Maya.

• Utilize skills in industrial design and graphic design to enhance the presentation of technical information.

• Develop comprehensive operating and maintenance manuals for various manufacturing processes and equipment.

• Produce clear and concise field kit installation guides.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy of technical information in all documents.

• Use CAD software to create detailed technical drawings and diagrams.

• Utilize experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to create accurate and detailed technical documents.

• Manage and update a library of technical documents, ensuring all information is current and accurate.

• Utilize Adobe InDesign for layout and design of technical documents. Requirements • Minimum of three years of experience as a Technical Writer in the Manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Adobe FrameMaker, AutoCAD, Autocad Electrical, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign

• Ability to create 2D and 3D Illustrations

• Experience in Graphic Design

• Demonstrated ability to develop Operating and Maintenance Manuals

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Engineering or a related field preferred Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
