Requirements
What you will do:
Process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate data entry and proper coding.
Prepare and process payments (checks, electronic transfers, etc.) according to payment schedules.
Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date AP records, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Ensure all financial transactions are entered accurately and consistently in the accounting system.
Identify and resolve data inconsistencies to maintain the integrity of financial records.
Regularly update vendor, and customer in accounting software.
Assist in generating customer invoices and recording revenue transactions.
Support AR follow-up efforts to ensure timely collections.
Assist in providing transaction records and documentation for internal and external audits.
What we are looking for:
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, with some familiarity with accounts receivable.
Experience in Great Plains, preferred but not necessary.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
