Purpose and Scope:

Required to set and maintain machine processes within acceptable quality parameters for the production of quality blow molded and/or injection molded parts in conformance with product standards.

Principle responsibilities:

  1. Provides technical training assistance to shift operators in regards to methods and techniques for troubleshooting process and processing issues, including identification, diagnosis, and resolution of such issues.

  2. Performs and maintains process and post production documentation as required

  3. Performs routine quality checks on parts during production, through usage of measuring instruments provided.

  4. Reads and understands quality standards, control plans, and all pertinent documentation required in producing a quality part to specification

  5. Assists in mold changes and setups. Able to safely transfer molds to/from storage to the required machine, and to set or disconnect molds from the machine to process standards.

  6. Assists in machine maintenance, has a basic technical understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting.

  7. Can verify proper operation of material handling and PET drying systems, and basic water and air inputs to the machine.

  8. Able to assist and support corrective action, cross-functional quality, downtime and scrap

  9. Understands importance of standard cycles and cavitations.

  10. Follows and maintains all safety, ISO, ASI, SQF, and GMP standards and requirementsAuthority:
