At Landus, youill find a fun team atmosphere and a stable career that offers excellent benefits for full-time employees!Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes but not limited to the following:iii iProvide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service.iii iDirectly supervise up to 10 employees in the operations department.iii iPerform the following duties in agronomy operations:oii iUnderstand and efficiently operate dry fertilizer plants, chemical containment buildings, and NH3 plants.oii iUnderstand customer licensing requirements for restricted-use pesticides.oii iUnderstand the capabilities and limitations of equipment (applicators, tool bars, etc.).oii iMaintain and understand records of chemical repackaging agreements and shuttle record keeping.iii iPerform the following duties in grain operations:oii iUnderstand grain flow within facility and where everything is located.oii iResponsible for the timely loading of trains.oii iUnderstand grain weighing and grading procedures.iii iPerform inventory at location.iii iAssist in budgeting and capital expense processes.iii iMaintain housekeeping of grain, agronomy, and office facilities and follow QMS procedures.iii iPerform entries in PM programs.iii iCreate and develop the location P/L with the location manager.Required Qualifications:iii i Must have a valid driveris license and/or must have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements.iii iParticipate in company DOT drug and alcohol program and maintain current DOT physical.iii iMust have or be able to obtain a commercial pesticide applicators license with 1A, 1B, and 1C endorsements.iii iMust have or be able to obtain a grain grading and weighing license.iii iMust be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds.Preferred Qualifications:iiii iBacheloris Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university.iii iFour to seven years of related experience.iii iGood computer skills.iii iUnderstand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.Equal Opportunity Employer/Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled
