West Fork Community School District Middle School Athletic Director in Rockwell, Iowa
West Fork CSD is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to fill the position of Middle School Athletic Director. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among our middle school students. Note:This is a part-time position and the compensation is equivalent to a coaching extra duty contract.
Position: Middle School Athletic Director
Location: West Fork Middle School; Sheffield, Iowa
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive middle school athletic program.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of middle school sports activities, including practices, games, and competitions.
- Collaborate with coaches, teachers, and administrators to ensure a positive and inclusive athletic experience for all students.
- Manage scheduling and logistics for athletic events, including transportation and facilities.
- Communicate regularly with parents, students, and staff regarding athletic programs, schedules, and updates.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations governing middle school athletics.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development.
Qualifications:
- Preferred previous experience in coaching, preferably at the middle school level.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant rules and regulations for middle school athletics.
- Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive athletic culture.
