2nd Shift Grain Receiving (3pm-11:30pm)

Due to internal movements, we are looking for someone to fill a 2nd shift opening on our grain receiving team. We're looking for someone wanting to work hands on with multiple grains from when the truck or rail car arrives at our facility until the grain is unloaded into our bins and silos. Some common tasks include climbing on top of rail cars to take samples, grading grain using some lab equipment, collecting samples of all incoming loads and taking them to our onsite lab, communicating with truck drivers and other Grain Millers employees, and using our automated unloading systems to unload and transfer grains into our silos. Your workday will be spent outside working with rail cars and semi-trucks and inside our milling facility. We're looking for someone who is a team player and wants to grow in their role and responsibilities. You will receive wage reviews every 6 months your first 4 years of employment with the opportunity for raises. After 4 years you will be put on our annual bonus plan and have yearly wage reviews and raises.

Essential Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to work with a variety of different personalities with co-workers, customers, and grain delivery personnel. Basic math skills. Basic computer knowledge.

Work Conditions

Exposure to a variety of small grains and grain dust. Work is performed outside the majority of the day. Work above ground level and at heights.
