Aventure Staffing CNC Programmer in Sheldon Iowa area, Iowa
CNC Programmer / Set-up - $30-$32/hr. DOE
Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Do you enjoy working with highly advanced equipment and can pay great attention to detail? Then we have the job for you! A family-owned business in the Sheldon Iowa area is looking for a full time CNC programmer and set up person for lathe and mill machines to join their growing team. As a CNC Programmer, you will work independently and alongside the shop manager to analyze drawings/sample parts and create machining programs.
Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize CNC programs for mills and lathes, based on engineering drawings and specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
Utilize SolidWorks software to create 3D models and generate tool paths.
Set up CNC machines and ensure quality control of parts according to programmed instructions.
Maintain documentation of programming changes, tooling requirements, and machine settings.
Requirements:
Experience with CNC lathes and mills
5 or more years of CNC programming experience
Knowledge of CAD/CAM software
Experience using 3D modeling software (Solidworks preferred)
Ability to read blueprints and drawings
