Fleet Mechanic
$23-$26.50/hr. DOE

Are you a mechanically inclined, detail-oriented mechanic looking for a position with amazing benefits and a great work atmosphere? If so, this job is for you! A family-owned Industrial Manufacturing Company is looking for a Mechanic to join their team. As a mechanic, you will be responsible for using technical skills to inspect, maintain, and repair delivery and unloading equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
Responsibilities:
Examine vehicles to determine damages or malfunctions, service vehicles as needed.
Follow checklist to diagnose, repair, and adjust parts as needed for trucks and trailers.
Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, etc. to ensure they are in proper operating condition.
Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services to include oil changes, battery tests, lubrications, per established maintenance schedules.
Assist with purchasing and maintaining parts inventory of all power equipment and shop supplies.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Associate degree in related field preferred, 1-3 years of automotive service experience required.
CDL with air brakes a plus.
Knowledge of brake and wiring systems, and tire management preferred.
Knowledge of the use of hand, power, and precise measurement tools.
Ability to professionally communicate with customers, employees, and management.
Ability to provide own general automotive tools.
What you’ll get:
Starting Pay: $23-$26.50/hr. DOE
