Maintenance Technician - $23-$28/hr. DOE

Aventure Staffing is looking for Maintenance Technicians for several companies in Sheldon and the surrounding areas. As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and breakdown maintenance on equipment, as well as responsible for keeping the facilities running and in compliance with all rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Develop a maintenance plan timeline with includes all facility equipment, instructions, and tasks.
Establish and conduct regularly scheduled inspections and maintenance of all equipment items IAW maintenance plan.
Effectively perform electrical wiring, sanitary welding, and moderate pipe fitting.
Maintain accurate and complete records of work performed and manpower time distribution.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Prior industrial maintenance/repair experience or training preferred.
Extensive working knowledge of shop, power/hand tools, forklift operations and maintenance equipment.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to scope out length and difficulty of tasks, set objectives and goals, break down work into process steps, anticipate and adjust for problems, and evaluate results.
Ability to solve problems by adapting knowledge and experience.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, adapt to changing environments, and think independently.

Starting Pay: $23-$28/hr. DOE
