Approximately 45 hours/week

Description:

We are a local company seeking an ambitious and energetic Assistant General Manager to join our Siouxland team. This hands-on management role offers competitive pay, a dynamic work environment, and opportunities for career advancement, including the potential to become a General Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of 1-15 members, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Perform all food preparation, cleaning, and customer service duties as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
  • Train and mentor team members, promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  • Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies to maintain stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling practices.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Contribute to staff scheduling and manage labor costs effectively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in the quick service or fast-casual industry.
  • Strong work ethic and a proven ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Dependable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Willingness to obtain necessary food handler certifications within 20 days of hire.
