Description
We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer with basic carpentry skills to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in assisting our construction crew with various tasks. From preparing construction sites to basic carpentry work, your contributions will be important in ensuring successful project completion.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications
Assemble, fasten, and reinforce structures using various tools and techniques
Install hardware components and devices, such as hinges, locks, and racks
Ensure that all structures are level, plumb, and square
Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that structures meet technical requirements
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
Ability to operate machinery and use hand tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs.
Basic understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
