Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for:

FACILITIES MANAGER

1 – Full-Time

Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Basic Computer and data entry skills.

  • Experience in facility management.

  • Knowledge of AAAHC standards and other regulatory agencies respective to facility oversight and environment of care.

  • Knowledge of facility infrastructure, building maintenance, materials, and equipment, as well as cleaning practices, grounds upkeep, and maintenance.

  • Experience in supervising staff and mentoring for optimal performance.

Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:

  • Oversees the routine and long-term maintenance of the facility and grounds of the health center.

  • Serves as a back- up for facilities staff.

  • Supervises the facilities staff to ensure that the security, cleanliness and general appearance of the facility and the grounds are maintained.

  • Conducts all recruitment, training and onsite supervision of staff to meet regulatory requirements and organizational expectations.

  • Ensures compliance with AAAHC standards, HRSA requirements, OSHA requirements, and all other regulatory bodies respective to the facility and the environment of care.

  • In conjunction with the Director of Strategic Planning, oversees the Emergency Preparedness Plan.

  • Assists Infection Control Specialist with Safety Management Plan and chairing the Safety Committee.

  • Works with the CEO and CFO to develop short and long-term plan for the facility to meet the strategic objectives of the health center.

  • Prepares annual operating and capital budget for the department and monitors for performance of all financial targets

  • Provides leadership, support and mentoring to direct reports as well as completing all required human resource documentation

  • These functions are not all inclusive
