Sioux Land Community Health Marketing/Development/Public Relations Intern in Sioux City, Iowa

Description

Siouxland Community Health Center has a part-time paid opening (approximately 20 hours per week, flexible hours based on school/class schedules, internship could be eligible for school credit) for:

Marketing/Development/Public Relations Intern

Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:

  • Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and follow-up skills

  • Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required

  • Ability to learn other software programs

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:

  • Assist the organization in the development and implementation of its marketing, development, and public relations plans.

  • Assist with the planning and implementation of fundraising events.

  • Assist with emails, newsletters, community presentations, community outreach events, and updating the client information in the fundraising database.

  • These functions are not all inclusive
