Sioux Land Community Health OPERATOR/SCHEDULER in Sioux City, Iowa

Description

1 – Full-Time

Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:

  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Basic Computer skills with Electronic Medical / Health Records (EMR) experience a definite plus.

  • Previous phone experience a plus.

  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and use overhead paging system.

  • Access Practice Management System to inform patients of appointment information.

  • Formulate phone notes from patient calls in EMR.

  • Works directly with medical staff to ensure accurate communication and understanding between patient and staff.

  • Assists patients in completing all necessary intake forms at initial visit, including but not limited to, demographic and medical history and financial verification.

  • These functions are not all inclusive
