Requirements
What you will do:
Review and prioritize maintenance work orders to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
Plan daily work schedules for maintenance technicians, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Assist in the development and improvement of a work order tracking system, ensuring accurate documentation of maintenance activities.
Train and onboard new maintenance technicians, providing mentorship and guidance to enhance team skills.
Assist in project planning for maintenance and mechanical services projects, ensuring alignment with plant goals and timelines.
Request quotes for repair and replacement parts, tools, and equipment; manage vendor relationships for cost-effective solutions.
Maintain inventory of critical parts and recommend improvements for stocking levels and supply chain efficiency.
Partner with the Operations Supervisor and Engineer to conduct daily plant walk-throughs, identifying potential maintenance needs and ensuring equipment functionality.
Work hands-on alongside technicians to assist with repairs and project execution, providing advanced technical expertise as needed.
Collaborate with plant leadership to develop preventative maintenance schedules for critical equipment and ensure completion of PM tasks.
Plan and schedule weekly WO and PM’s and ensure the right parts are available on site.
Responsible for maintaining WO details and on hand inventory for part in the CMMS program.
Demonstrate company values in daily work interactions, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace environment.
Perform all other duties as assigned to support plant operations and equipment reliability.
What you will need:
High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical training or certification in a related field is preferred.
7+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, including leadership responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, automation, motors, and hydraulics.
Proven experience in managing work orders, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities.
Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or similar maintenance tracking systems.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior technicians.
Strong organizational skills for inventory management and project planning.
Commitment to safety and compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Basic knowledge of electrical (110V, 240V and 480V single and 3-phrase) required.
Pipe fitting, welding, air and electrical pump experience is preferred.
Knowledge of automation and process controls is a plus.
