Summary

The Senior Account Representative is responsible for the production scheduling at Sioux City, IA facility. The Sr. Account Rep. will also manage custom accounts, inventory, and balance order fulfillment. Perdue offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a great team environment!

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare fabrication information for production scheduling

  • Communicate essential information with Sioux Center facility, Sioux City Production and Sioux City receiving on inter-company transfers on WIP codes and finished goods

  • Responsible for working with cross functional teams to contribute to the profitability, continuity, and the reliability of the facility and product

  • Manage SXP Commodity Sales Tracker to support forecasting for Sales Staff

  • Identify/forecast NAE buyback product for Sales Team “upselling”

  • When necessary, rotate Saturday duties with Sales Team

  • Evaluates sales, forecasts, and orders

  • Manage inventory: balance order fulfillment, inventory dates, and production needs

  • Communicate with Operations and Sales teams on inventory levels, code date issues, shortages, and special production requirements

Minimum Education

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Bachelors degree in Animal Science or related field preferred

Experience Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of meat industry experience, scheduling, and managing raw materials and supplies

  • Strong computer skills: Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Must be a highly motivated, self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage projects with multiple moving parts

  • Must be accurate and deadline oriented

  • Collaborative, team player, professional

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  • Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings

  • May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another

  • May need to access files, supplies and equipment

  • Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment

When in a plant environment:

• Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces

• May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity

• May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit

• May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.

• May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility

• Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company
