Responsibilities:
Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the Med/Surg Department.
Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period.
Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care.
Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients.
Requirements:
Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems
IA RN license
BLS and ACLS are required - onsite training is available with no cost to employees upon hire
Med/Surg experience preferred, but new grads welcome to apply
Schedule:
Multiple Shifts Available - 12-hour shifts - 7-7 - holiday rotation:
72 hours a pay period. Day/Night. Every 3rd weekend
72 hours a pay period. Straight Nights. Every 3rd weekend. (Additional $5k = $20k total)
Weekend Package. 12 hr shifts Fri-Sun. Day/Night. Work 42 out of 52 weekends per year, may work more
Receive an additional 8 hours paid every pay period! Your choice of benefits (10% increase in base wage) or non-benefits (33% increase in base wage)
The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
