Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to deliver the best possible nursing care in LRH’s patient-focused setting.

SUMMARY:

Registered nurse who plans, coordinates, and implements patient care specific to the age of the assigned patients to ensure that quality care is provided in a safe and efficient manner. Critical Care Nurse shall triage and initiate accurate and ongoing assessments of physical and psychosocial problems of patients of all ages within the critical care system as evidenced by written documentation. Nurse will demonstrate independent performance that is consistent with the mission and goals of the Critical Care Unit and the hospital. Individual must be flexible to changing systems and is expected to demonstrate effectiveness and quality in work habits and clinical practice. Treats patients, their families, and staff & physicians with consideration and respect.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Associate degree or above in nursing. Six months RN experience required to work in the Critical Care Department. One-year experience with cardiac monitoring is preferred.

CERTIFICATION and LICENSURE

Current Iowa RN license. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporting within 1 year of employment. Basic Coronary Care certification preferred.
