    Lake Regional Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Nurses to deliver the best possible nursing care in LRH’s Patient-focused setting.

    SUMMARY:

    Position works in the Outpatient Services Center serving oncology, infusion therapy, specialty outreach clinics and Cardiac Rehab. Effectively coordinates the scheduling of patients and consulting physicians’ offices. Complies with established standards of nursing, demonstrating a comprehensive scope of skills and knowledge in the management of the Oncology patients’ physical and psychosocial needs.

    Demonstrates ability to update level of education to maintain skills specific to oncology. Flexibility in scheduling around the needs of the outreach clinics and patient infusions is a must.

    EDUCATION &/or EXPERIENCE:

    Associate degree or above in nursing. Must have six months RN experience. Prefer at least two years general medical/surgical hospital experience with an emphasis on IV skills. Training through oncologist office in chemotherapy administration.

    CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:

    Current Iowa RN license. Current certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Adult/Child Abuse Mandatory Reporting. ONS Chemotherapy Competency class within 6 months of hire.
