Responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of inventory levels in the warehouse by performing cycle counts daily. The position will be required to operate a handheld RF (radio frequency) scanner and order picking machine to perform cycle counts from an elevated level on the machine’s platform. Qualified candidate must become certified on electric equipment – up to and including the order picker and the use of fall protection equipment. Clean and maintain a safe work environment in warehouse. Follow set company and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times. Supports company values.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to the following:

- None required, but knowledge of warehouse, quality control and inventory functions experience a plus. Experience with order picking machine and RF scanner preferred.
Standing for up to 100% of the time, up to 12 hours per day and up to 6 days per week on concrete warehouse flooring. Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 15 pounds frequently. Continuously bending and leaning around pallets and warehouse staging locations. Operating stand up mechanical forklift, pallet jack, and stock picker for up to 12 hours a day. Operating and moving full pallets with manual pallet jack Counting and inspecting boxes, displays and pallets for up to 12 hours a day. Standing, bending, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting and turning, walking, and climbing stairs. Hand and finger dexterity. Continuous, fast-paced, repetitious motion of the hands, arms, shoulders, waist, and legs. The odor and possible contact of beef jerky, spices, and sauces.
