Description:

• Work closely under project managers to produce commercial site plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Subdivision design

• Visit job site to ensure construction matches design, and consult with clients.

• Could be working on 5 projects at a time, projects typically last 1-2 weeks. Would be shuffling multiple projects which are in different phases.

• Some client interaction but would work with city and government organizations to get information important for design.

• Involved in process from the initial surveying to final stages of permitting. This could take 2-3 months for small projects and 4-5 months for large project completion.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or similar field

• 1+ years of design experience in commercial land development or site design

• Communication with clients, colleagues and fellow employees/employer

• Drainage calculations and detention calculations.

• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Site plan design, storm water management plans

• Understand contours, grading plans, etc.
