Job Summary

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and committed Competitive Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The Competitive Intelligence Analyst role acts as a go-to resource for sales, research, data, and knowledge of Annuity and Life products. The role would use various product comparison tools to gain knowledge, insights and the inner workings of products to assist Brokers International understand the positioning of the products, counter arguments, and provide alternative solutions. To be successful you must be motivated, a life-long learner, and have a strong affinity for creating an excellent customer service experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports, presentations, briefings, one-pagers and webinars to provide information to various audiences based on comprehensive research and analysis. Provide support to additional teams on best practices and strategy.

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of competitive landscapes, markets and products. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the industry to ensure innovation and adaptation ahead of market. Monitor, track and record insights on upcoming and new competitor product launches.

  • Collaborating with industry and team stakeholders to provide solutions to various requests across different business areas and drive business performance. Collectively working to compare/contrast our products with our competitors and provide alternative solutions.

  • Document preparation of industry trends to provide guidance and recommendations for products and services. Ensure documents would need to be easily digestible for internal staff, wholesaler partners and respective agents.

  • Various special projects for executive, wholesaler partners, as well as sales and client teams.

  • Recommend resources, policies and procedures needed to upgrade/update the current systems and create efficiencies.

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year College or University; three to four years of relevant experience: and/or combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in Life and Annuity insurance industry

  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex, detailed and sensitive information

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
