Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Financial Analyst in the Des Moines metro. The role primarily involves financial analysis and financial modeling for our team. This role is a key part of our financial department and is integral to the company's operations in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate valuation models, contributing to the achievement of internal rate of return targets.

• Perform corporate, subsidiary, and project cash flow and variance analysis to support financial decision-making.

• Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management, ensuring accurate and comprehensive financial information is included.

• Conduct reconciliation of actual information and prepare analysis explaining differences to budgets and forecasts.

• Conduct the analysis, evaluation, and presentation of potential acquisitions and other investments to inform strategic decision-making.

• Prepare competitive proposal support, including financial models, narratives, and research of investment opportunities.

• Interact directly with counterparts from joint venture partners regarding financial analysis, fostering collaborative relationships.

• Compile, analyze, research, and interpret data to prepare reports, corporate and asset acquisition/divestiture analysis, forecast future trends, and stay abreast of economic changes and industry topics.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years experience as a Financial Analyst or in a related role.

• Demonstrated skills in Financial Analysis and Financial Modeling.

• Proficient in Variance Analysis.

• Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries.

• Experienced in Account Reconciliation.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Demonstrated knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis.
