Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I in the business services industry. This role is based in Urbandale, Iowa, and involves providing technical support to users, managing Active Directory, handling hardware issues, and using ServiceNow for ticketing.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for a range of hardware and software issues

• Manage user accounts and permissions using Active Directory

• Handle printer and shared drive issues, ensuring connectivity and appropriate access

• Use the ServiceNow platform for ticketing, tracking, and resolving issues

• Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for contractors, including re-provisioning laptops

• Communicate effectively with users to resolve issues, both via phone and in person

• Respond to and handle walk-up requests for technical assistance

• Perform password resets and promote the use of self-service options

• Identify and escalate potential security issues as necessary

• Participate in shipping and receiving tasks, including ordering equipment and managing inventory

Please note that this role requires skills in Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deskside Support, Desktop Hardware, and ServiceNow Platform. A successful candidate will also be proficient in providing technical support and dealing with Network Printers and Shared Services. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Help Desk Analyst role or a similar position.

• Proficiency in Active Directory management and administration.

• Familiarity with computer hardware and its components.

• Experience in Configuration Management, ensuring systems are running as expected.

• Ability to provide Deskside Support to employees experiencing technical issues.

• Knowledge of Desktop Hardware and ability to troubleshoot related problems.

• Experience with ServiceNow Platform for managing and coordinating IT service desks.

• Ability to provide technical support to users experiencing software or hardware issues.

• Previous experience in technical support role, preferably in a shared services environment.

• Familiarity with Network Printers, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
