DescriptionPURPOSE of POSITION:The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst is responsible for managing, vetting, monitoring and providing process improvement plans for systems, applications and databases in accordance with client contract requirements on a national scale. The IAM Analyst is responsible for completing tasks and user access audits designed to identify and enforce security of the systems and information assets to protect against modification, destruction or unauthorized access. Additionally, an IAM Analyst identifies vulnerabilities to protect data assets and implement security processes while recommending solutions and best practices.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. 70%: Creates, works and closes account registration cases, administering account lock/unlock activities, performing account role additions/removals, and managing security violations.2. 10%: Monitors and enforces any security breach of regulations, requirements, procedures and guidelines for system access. Works with groups within and outside the company to ensure that the Information Security and data access is managed effectively during business hours, after hours, weekends and on-call rotation.3. 10%: Provides peer training on new processes and tools, ensuring goals and productivity levels are met on time.4. 5%: Creates, updates and maintains system and process documentation as required under Federal contracts. Updates and maintains documentation as required to ensure compliance with CMS security requirements. Asist with the creation of training documentation as needed.5. 5%: Manages audit results related to account access. Determines action plans in relation to daily/weekly/monthly reports to comply with security protocol with regards to least privilege, separation of duties, and security violations.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:HS Graduate or GEDANSI 17024 related certification requiredRelated Work Experience: 4-6 yearsPartially cross trained in IMS processes and procedures currently implemented, or equivalent background inIdentity and Access Management.Prior experience with Active Directory, Database scripting, working knowledge of NIST 800.53 andknowledge of HIDS/HCQIS applicationsIn-depth understanding and knowledge of Identity and Access Management processes and industry trendsExperience with deploying one or more IAM solutions, including user provisioning, role-based accesscontrol, authentication and authorizationIntermediate understanding of security issues, techniques, and implications across multiple platforms.Demonstrated ability and experience:Working independently and/or in a team environmentManaging customer relationshipsMeeting time sensitive deadlinesMaking sound decisions and exercising sound judgmentStrong background skills in problem solving, verbal/written communications, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work over 40 hours in a week, as needed.
