Principal Financial Group Manager I in Urbandale, Iowa

What You'll Do

As a Manager , supporting our Enterprise Document Services area , you will lead our daily business operations that includes high level oversight of daily work and budgets to ensure available resources (people and equipment) are used efficiently and according to planned forecasting and business partner's service level expectations.

You'll also:

  • Establish business relationships with business partners and influence business partners as Enterprise Document Services evolves our strategy.

  • Serve as a liaison with customers and suppliers to ensure system and/or monitoring of jobs are aligned with service level agreements.

  • Leverage metrics to lead and manage the operations within established staffing and expense goals.

  • Participate and engage in strategic planning at the department and divisional level.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent experience.

  • 4+ years of business/operations supervisory experience.

  • Strong technical aptitude.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of postal regulations.

  • Advanced planning/organizational, problem-solving, analytical, time management, decision-making, negotiation, and oral/written communication skills.

  • May be required to work off- hour shifts and holidays.

Skills that will help you stand out:

  • Familiarization with mail, scanning, and print operations.

  • Possess strong prioritization skills and the ability to multi-task.

  • Basic knowledge of financial service products preferred.

  • Strong sense of efficient work processes, and a keen sense of quality control.

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$86450 - $116850 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

This role will be based out of our World Headquarters located in Des Moines, IA.

This role offers the ability for in-office or hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek) work arrangements. You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors
