Mosaic Training/Staff Development Supervisor in Urbandale, Iowa

In this role, you'll assist in coordinating all in-service and orientation training for staff and work closely with supervisory staff in all training needs. Who will love this job: * A doer – you get things done with attention to detail and are excited to look at the result to find ways to learn and improve * An efficient planner – you get a thrill out of keeping information and people organized and can both anticipate and overcome roadblocks, making you an excellent problem solver * A detail enthusiast - you are over-the-top organized and are stellar at managing schedules and even the smallest of details What YOU’LL Do: * Participate in the development, implementation and facilitation of Operational Learning and Development initiatives to help meet identified needs. * Utilize and review training reports and data to determine training completion status or other analysis for the state or agency. * Direct development of state of the art presentations and training materials to promote high-quality services to people with disabilities. * Maintain a current knowledge of learning technologies and adult learning principles and practices. Disseminate this knowledge to the department as needed. * Manage and coordinate teamwork processes effectively and efficiently in order to deliver high-quality learning and training. SCHEDULE: Days, Salaried, Mostly 8am - 5pm, some weekends/evenings needed depending on training needs (probably about 5x/year). What YOU’LL Need: * Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Services, Communication or related field. Equivalent years of relevant work experience may be substituted. * Minimum of three years of experience in a related field. * Experience in supervision with a background in developmental disabilities, training and quality assurance experience preferred. * Certification as an instructor in CPR may be required.
