Working knowledge of Microsoft Office package, Google products, and school finance accountingsoftware. Knowledge of computer systems primarily as they relate to accounting procedures.2. Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.3. Interpersonal skills that exhibit friendliness, tact, patience, and courtesy.4. Ability to work independently, in a team environment, and be willing to work outside of normal businesshours with accuracy and attention to detail.5. Capacity to represent the District professionally, which includes but is not limited to confidentiality andthe ability to obtain and utilize additional training if necessary.6. Willingness to learn and enthusiastically look forward to new job challenges.7. Reconciliation of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Activity fund utilizing Vista-Iowa software.8. Completion of payroll process and tax reporting for the district.9. District Registrar duties and state reporting requirements.10. Assisting with completion of the Certified Annual Report, BEDS and SRI reports.11. Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Superintendent.12. Successfully complete an Iowa division of criminal investigation and national criminal historybackground check.Hiring requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources or education-related field.Previous administrative experience in a school finance business office.PowerSchool Student Information System experience preferred.Ability to obtain SBO (School Business Official) Authorization.
