CAT Scale Company is hiring hard-working and dedicated Construction Laborers to join our team and travel all over the United States maintaining and repairing our 2,200+ CAT Scales.

As a Construction Laborer, you will embark on a dynamic journey, working with and learning from diverse individuals, including crew members, foremen, maintenance crews, subcontractors, and customers. Your tasks will span a wide range, from concrete work and repair to scale deck repair, trenching for conduit, and the use of various tools. You will also learn how to maintain CAT Scale equipment. This role is perfect for those who enjoy staying active, working outdoors, and embracing a variety of tasks!

Requirements

• A construction background is helpful, andconcrete experience is highly preferred!
• Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all types of people
• Able to work successfully under limited supervision AND in a team-based setting
• You must be accountable for your actions, be detail-oriented, and take the initiative to complete projects promptly.
• Possesses the ability to lift and move 50-75 pounds regularly and must be able to stand, kneel, and bend over long periods.
• Work outside during all types of weather.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, or2-3 weeks at a time, throughout the United States and Canada. Must have the ability to obtain a Passport.
• Ensure all safety guidelines and organizational best practices are always followed.
• Employees MUST live within two hours from CAT Scale Headquarters in Walcott, Iowa.

License

• Valid Class A CDL with good driving record (preferred) or ability to obtain one in the first 3 months of employment.
