Are you ready to play a vital role in the operating room? As a Surgical Tech, you’ll be at the heart of patient care and surgical precision. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting Surgical Excellence: Prepare, organize, and provide essential tools during procedures. Assist the surgical team by anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth operations.

  • Patient Preparation & Care: Help position and transport patients with compassion and skill. Assist in prepping patients under the direction of an RN.

  • Ensuring a Sterile Environment: Clean and re-sterilize surgical suites and instruments post-procedure, maintaining top-tier hygiene standards.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred

  • BLS certified

  • 1-2 years clinical experience preferred.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation

  • Display knowledge of care required by infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers, school age, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

  • Ability to use their hands quickly and with precision.

  • Requires a keen attention to detail to keep operating suite and equipment sterile and clean

  • Display good listening skills in order to comprehend and quickly respond to the needs of the surgical team during a procedure such as getting additional equipment or supplies.

  • Display a good memory is necessary in order to avoid the repetition of lengthy explanations for tasks that need to be completed.

  • Ability to be comfortable working under pressure.
