As an Administrative Assistant with EPI, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive administrative support services across various functions of the agency. This position involves dynamic responsibilities that adapt to the evolving needs of the department and organizaiton.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, acknowledging the importance of being the first impression for the agency.

  • Answer incoming phone calls, including routing calls appropriately and taking messages as needed

  • Deliver accurate and efficient secretarial and clerical services, organizations contracting services from the agency.

  • Assist with opening and closing procedures of the office, ensuring that the building's doors are unlocked and locked appropriately during office hours.

  • Assist with mail distribution, including routing inter-office mail and posting/transportation of mail to the post office.

  • May assist with committee and board meetings including scheduling, coordinating, taking minutes and creating and delivering accurate reports.

  • Perform a variety of administrative support services and other duties as assigned.

  • A person who can work and communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with a diverse group of people, building strong and collaborative relationships.

  • Someone passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, with a desire to provide responsive support and assistance demonstrating values of people, creative cooperation, stewardship and integrity.

  • Tech savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to adapt to new applications and technology quickly.

  • Effective time management and follow-up skills with the ability to plan and prioritize work duties; nimble to team needs and ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.

  • Dependability and ability to maintain composure during stressful situations.

  • Keen eye for detail, meticulously reviewing documents and processes to ensure accuracy and quality in every task.

  • Sense of humor and desire to positively contribute to team.

    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • One (1) year of related post-high school education or experience

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, good driving record, and current vehicle insurance coverage, which meet the specified requirements of EPI’s Driving Policy.

  • Ability to pass extensive background checks including but not limited to criminal, abuse and Medicaid exclusion.

    Details:

This a is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. This role requires on-site attendance and may work across various offices within the immediate area.
